What do think of when you want a dose of cutting edge music? Well are you ready for MY OWN I? My Own I is a local Houston, Tx band that want's to share their music with the masses. With their hard hitting performances, and an uplifting style, they leave you craving more. MY OWN I makes the long forgotten sound of rock seem not so hard to grasp. The band has a medium, to heavy, alternative rock sound that anyone can enjoy. With a variation of power ballads, and heavy rock, there is definitly a song for everyone. Prepare to be amazed at the arsenal of music waiting for you. This band is going all the way, so are you ready for now? MY OWN I consists of five members. Jeremy March---drums/ Matt Wende'---rhythm guitar/ Jason March---bass guitar/ Zac Saker---lead guitar/ Tab Cocchia---vocals MY OWN I was re-formed in 2003, and given a complete music makeover. Together these five guy's have made a sound all their own. MY OWN I is based in Houston, Tx. The band has many accomplishments. They have played at SXSW, and also had a live interview with Texas Jam.com at the festival. They are currently getting airplay on Galveston/Houston radio station 89.7fm Gulf Coast Rock, performed an on air interview, and live performance. The band has been featured in the Houston Chronicle as an upcoming Houston band. MY OWN I has performed at very prominent venues in, and around, the Houston area. So far totaling in at three Houston Battle of the Bands competition wins. MY OWN I's first full length CD, titled 'Epidemic', will be out soon.
