Charlotte Kendrick(folk)

Charlotte Kendrick fuses elements of americana, country, and rock to create a unique voice in music. Her songs display a skill for catchy hooks, soothing melodies, and intimate lyricism, reminding listeners of Norah Jones and even Joni Mitchell. Incidentally, it was after her Joni Mitchell cassette broke while in the Peace Corps that Charlotte started writing her own music. Since 2002, Charlotte has performed throughout the country at venues including The Bitter End, Jammin' Java, Club Passim, and The Hotel Cafe. She also plays regularly at schools and colleges in New York and New England, where she is always well received. Working with producer/collaborator Dan Rowe, Charlotte released her debut album "I Get Stupid" in August 2003. The duo released a second album, "Live at the Roger Smith", on July 1st in conjunction with a 100-day national tour, which they recently completed. Charlotte Kendrick is sure to captivate audiences everywhere - whether live or permanently stuck in your stereo. You can learn more at www.charlottekendrick.com.
