Emerging from the central Sicilian hinterland, No-fly zone play an alternative guitar-oriented pop rock, blending with introspective lyrics.
Originally the group was born as a four-member band (Raimondo-voice, Emiliano-guitar, Ilario-bass, Ivan-drums) in 1999. Last but not least, Salvatore (guitar) joined the group in early 2002.
It all started with a weird dream featuring an old friend,a song called "Eden", a pact, creepy folks dancing insane and some words that should have been recorded.
No-fly zone have been working hard in this tough field for a few years now, but since the release of the "Fear of pain" ep, the band gained good recognition among media and music-pickers.
Stylistically, the influences vary greatly so the music cover a lot of stylistic ground bringing up distant musical memories in brand new settings.
