In August of 2010, the band had a makeover, and the percussion player, harmonica player, and lead guitarist were replaced by saxophone player Rodney Howell, sax and keyboard player of "Eleven Fingered Charlie", a rock reggae band originating from San Marcos Texas. Their first single, "What you want" features a brand new sound, rhythmic changes and a funky beat. In April of 2010, EMCravens is set to open up for the 80's mega band BOSTON at fire lake event center in Austin, TX.
S.M.P. (stands for Sounds of Mass Production) is an industrial rock band based in Seattle. Heavily influenced by rock and punk, SMP has Jason Brazinet, Rob Seaverns (guitar), and Juan Gomez (drums). Galen Waling does the drums for the band when on tour. SMP's recent most record 'The Treatment' was produced by Wade Alin and released by Jason's recording label Music Ration Entertainment.
Ticklin The Pickle is a band formed by Daniel Pearce (lead vocals and drums), Dave Smith (guitar), Pete Lawrence (bass guitar), Tim Hudson (Hammond organ), and Joe Caetano (percussion). The band welcomes a diverse mix of guests in the vocals and brass sections. T.T.P. creates funkie sound with a soul and fresh approach. This band is also known as raw, dirty, tight, and exciting; especially during live performances.
In 2001, the Woodsmen band includes Jake Lackey (keyboard), Hollis Molloy (bass) Andy Power (drums), and Dylan Halberg (vocals and guitar). Then, Andy and Hollis were replaced by Jamey nelson and Matt Weirauch respectively. In 2004, Chris Foss the guitarist joined the Woodsmen and did their first analog recording. They disbanded for a while and came back together with Jim Frink the drummer. In 2008, the band released 'Rubbish' with only Jake, Matt, Frink, and Dylan as members.
Surefunk is a band podcasting network, where independent bands, independent artists, and musicians are invited to upload their music. Surefunk is a place where music, especially in the funk genre, gets help in promotion via videocasting and podcasting. The bands and the artists are required to register before they can upload their music, as well as the images and the personal/professional information about themselves.
Jah Resination is formed by 6 band members: Jeremy, Gumba, Jeff, Huggy Bear, Derek, and Mac. They played funky stuff, shaped grooves, and experimental. Jah Resination is often referred to as a band within a band because of the Chunk and the Goonies. The original members had started young; though there have been a lot of members but changes happened along with the band name.
Natalie Brown is a Canadian vocalist/writer who has a passion for music since childhood. She had been involved in the theater, gospel music, creative writing, and local session works. When Natalie moved to California, she was selected to sing with Gospel recording artist, Ron Kenoly, in his 'Welcome Home' tour. Natalie recorded 2003 Holiday album 'A Cool Christmas', noted for R And B and pop influences.
David Marion played various musical instruments at age 6. He favored the drums at age 10 but ended up mastering the bass guitar at age 16. He studied bass at C.I.M., a jazz institute in Paris, France. He also attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. David was raised as a Christian and he got inspired by artists like Fred Hammond and Kirk Franklin. He played with Gospel bans for experience and appeared in various performances to learn different genres of music like rock, pop and soul.
