Michael Cone started building musical instruments in 1968. He heard and was inspired by the sound of Julian Bream playing a Bouchet. Michael's first classical guitar was finished in 1969. Cornelissen was a master violin maker who influenced the superb quality of the tone of the classical guitars made by Michael.
