Later, he studied the flute, clarinet, saxophone, mandolin, Irish tenor banjo, 5-string banjo, and Irish whistle ' and was awarded Diplomas for Performance and Composition. Neil likes to experiment on performing many contrasting styles; such as: jazz, folk, concert band, and theatre orchestras.
