Aphonic started playing in 1999 around the Detroit area but moved to Bloomington, IN, in 2001. Due to frequent travels between Bloomington and Detroit, the music created by Aphonic was influenced by classical and rock music. The resulting sound was a delightful blend of intensity and artistry. The demo recorded by Aphonic was self-released and named 'Airport Bars'. Their album titled 'Why It Sometimes Feels Good' was released in 2006.
