Emma Wallace is a versatile artist who has worked really hard to get more achievements as a musician. She was 7 years old when she was challenged by her piano teacher's offhand comment on her talent. She played almost everywhere, from coffee shops to Florida Music Festival and in California for a while as an aspiring musician. Emma had developed a unique sound and style from quite a lot of influences like Astrud Gilberto (acoustic jazz), Peggy Lee (vocal style), Randy Newman and Tom Jobin.
Jason Sturges (avant-garde Chapman Stick performing artist) is based in Ames, Iowa. He is a software engineer by profession but he has the heart and soul of a talented artist. His musical compositions are often off beat but they all embodied everything he find desirable in music. Jason applies the standard theory on anything classic, infuses jazz, wraps the result around funk rhythms and ends up with a flux of fusion as his moniker.
Stevie Vallance, a Canadian voice director and songstress, has started her musical career at the age of 19. She was born in Montreal but raised in Toronto. At age 20, while she was doing the front act of an LA band, an executive from CBS approached her to offer the role of 'Sylvie' in the 'Knots Landing' series. In 1998, Stevie recorded her debut jazz CD titled 'Practically Naked'. She is currently hosting own radio show, 'Jazz And Blues on the Beach'.
Jonathan E. Bell is a man who wears many hats. He has many business interests; but still finds time to compose, perform, record, and produce cross-over jazz music. He founded his own independent recording label company called 'Indikid Music' which was the fulfillment of his dream to record and release professional jazz music in CDs. Jonathan is known as an independent jazz-fusion artist.
Dodo Ranch is the website of Tellef Ogrim, a guitarist who modifies his guitar to create a fretless guitar. Tellef is based in Norway known for his style as fretless guitarist. He modified a Yamaha SG600 guitar and used it in 'Wagon 8' and 'Some Dodos Never Die'. His music is always characteristically straightforward. Dennis McClung was born in Baltimore, Maryland. At a young age of three, Dennis had started listening to Fats Domino. Further influences and inspirations came from Ray Charles, Albert King, Muddy Waters, and many more. He formed the Dennis McClung Blues Band with himself as the lead guitar, Jason Corder in bass and vocals, Randy Franklin keyboard/piano and vocals, and Linny Merchant drums/percussion and vocals. In 1998, the band recorded first CD 'Prisoner of the Blues'.
Carl Eichman originated from the Detroit area and, at the age of 17, started performing at jazz and rock clubs. Carl toured as guitarist and arranger in top acts around the US and Canada. He had received formal training on playing the guitar and French Horn. He learned music composition, scoring, big band jazz performance, and improvisation in college. Carl composes, arranges, produces, and programs music. His musical instruments are electric and bass guitars, piano, keyboards, and acoustic.
